What foods or food groups are associated with better health outcomes?

By now, you should have a good understanding of the types of foods to avoid if you want to achieve weight loss and improve your health outcomes.

As we near the end of the program, I want to remind you that not all foods are equal when it comes to weight loss. Some food groups are more energy-dense and less filling than others.

As a general rule, it is best to avoid foods high in energy density, such as sugar-sweetened drinks, and instead focus on consuming lower energy density foods, like vegetables.

When it comes to weight loss, it is important to focus on the following:

1) Eat more whole foods

2) Eat more fruits and vegetables

3) Reduce intake of added sugar

4) Reduce intake of refined grains

5) Eat foods high in protein, fiber, and water

To lose weight, it is important to simplify your diet. Reduce your intake of added sugar and refined grains, while increasing your consumption of foods that are high in protein, fiber, healthy fats, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
